A British soldier was killed, in a daring raid to free a New York Times reporter being held by the Taliban. "This guy [the journalist] was told not to go in there. He was told by local officials," said a western military source. "But being stupid should not give you a death sentence. How do you decide when not to go in? That's the hard thing? When do you give a bad man with a gun the right to decide. You always go back and get someone." Of course, the New York Times have NO shame, as a brave British soldier gave his life for their irresponsibility. The Times should be made to pay reparations to the soldiers family.

Well, that headline probably set a record for invoking Godwin’s Law, now
didn’t it? But sadly, in this case it does not seem to be inappropriate. To

Joe-This is same NYT which exposed every secret the US intel community could leak under the argument, "The public has a right to know." Oh really? Didn't public have right to know that their boy was being held x Islamic savages and that Brit elite SAS was mounting ballsy effort to free him? Apparently, NYT kept this secret from public. I certainly wanted to know that this idiot reporter was held by savages.
ReplyDeletePerhaps NYT should explain when and where we have right to know.
